On May 1st, Second Harvest Japan’s Development & Advocacy Coordinator, Sera Palmer, talked to foreign exchange students about Second Harvest Japan’s activities, her experiences working for an NPO, and the differences between western and Japanese NGOs.

The students, each from different countries world wide, are taking an NPO management course at Sophia University. The students took a great interest in Second Harvest Japan and the difficulties encountered by Japanese NPOs, and a great 30 minute discussion ensued.
