On November 25, 2013, we served meals to refugees from Fukushima prefecture as we do every month at the evacuation center.
On November 25, 2013, we cooked and served meals at the last remaining evacuation center in the country.
We have been doing this every month since May 2012.
The town office has moved away, and less people live here
On this day we served oranges for dessert…
…as well as kiwifruit.
They may look like french fries, but they’re actually asparagus!
The number of residents have declined.
The cooking pot in the kitchen comes with hose for washing, making it easy and convenient to clean and wash up.

We used onion and bacon soup for the soup base.
