The founder of Second Harvest Japan, Charles McJilton, has stepped down as Chair. “For the health and governance of the organization it was better to have someone else act as our chair and I focus on my role as CEO. I remain committed to our mission of making sure that people have enough and focussing on, ‘Tokyo 2020: Food for 100,000.’”

Richard Gardner is the former dean of the Faculty of Liberal Arts at Sophia University and has been a board member for many years.
