We received a heartfelt message from a recently joined participant:
“Until now, I could only buy sweets for my child on their birthday. But since we started coming to the pantry, my child says, ‘It feels like it’s my birthday every month!’ and was so happy. Thank you so much.”
Reading this message brought tears to my eyes.
Local donations have also been increasing, which is very helpful, but we are especially grateful to 2HJ for consistently providing items in time for each pantry event.
