When we held the food pantry, we received words of gratitude from one of our users.
“In the beginning, I was too scared to come to the pantry by myself because I didn’t trust people around me, and I had to come with my mother. But today, one year later, I managed to come to the pantry alone! Thanks to all of you. I am truly grateful!”
We were very happy to hear these words, as we believe that the “community-based” pantry that Kawagoe Children’s Pantry aims to be is what made them feel so good about the pantry.
We are able to create such a place because of the companies and organizations that provide us with food.
